It seems that the same name has been put for 4th canto to describe the Rati's weeping with an entrance that has been done in the 3rd canto by the poet. The commencement of this canto is done according to that purpose. 

atha mōhaparayaṇō satī - vivaśā kāmavadhū vibōdhinā,
vidhinā pratipādayiṣyatā - navavaidhavyamahasya vēdanam.
(After this, she realized that this was her destiny because she was deceived, had no action, protected the chastity, and lingered by childlessness.)

It has been prepared to emerge the voice of sorrowfulness which is emerged from the heart of a woman who has been departed from her husband, all around this canto, by Kalidasa. "I did not take any unliked thing for you; You did not same me too. Why are you missed from me who lamenting of you, without reason? " Thus, the poet who brings the lament of Rati close to the reader.

kṛtavānasi vipriyaṁ na mē - pratikūlaṁ na ca tē mayā kṛtaṁ,
kimakāraṇamēva darśanaṁ - vilapantyai ratayē na dīyatē.
(04. 07-poem)

Further, it has been performed the aspect of the role of Rathya who has been done when was with her husband was living, it is prepared to close to the hears of the audience by the poet. Pleasures with Ananga and good sports are often remembered. In such occasions, the poet brings heart-burning thoughts of Rati to feel others by these expressions.

sirasā praṇipatya yācitā - tyupagūḍāni savēpathūni ca,
suratāni ca tāni tē rahaḥ - smara saṁsmṛtya na śāntirasti mē.
(I do not have a pacification of remembering embraces and intercourses with Ananga.)
(Verse 4-17)

ahamētya pataṁgavartmanā - punaraṁkāśrayaṇī bhavāmi tē,
caturaiḥ surakāminījanaiḥ - priya yāvanna vilōbhyasē divi.
(I will approach close to you by entering into the fire; I will come to you soon before you will be enticed by divine virgins in heaven.)

After the mourning of her dear, Rati looked for Madhava that was a good friend of the husband. Madhava, who knew this, appeared presence of her. At a later point, Rati expressed her grief and eased that as much as. and thought to enter into the fire instead of the husband. At that time, however, a predict from the sky was heard that Ananga is alive and she would be able to see him on a future date, so she changed her decision. 

The poet ends this canto with a most beautiful poetic style. Accordingly, Rati(Wife of Ananga) is illustrated by the incident of the moon who has not shone in the noon, shines with the arrival of the night. Here the poet has captured a familiar phenomenon of natural beauty in the poetry scene.

A brief introduction to 5th canto Kumarasambhavam Mahakavyam kumārasambhava Mahākāvyam part-03 pārvatī tapaḥphalōdaya (= fulfilling the Parvati's penance, fifth canto)-86 verses.  As the poet has named this canto in kumārasambhavam of kālidāsa, it is clear to us the main meaning of all around the 86 verses.
